Who-Who waxing. LOL!

I took a break from sewing last night. I took Graisi to skating practice and think I've found a skate dress for her to wear in the competition Saturday. YEA! She was going to wear her "old faithful" but when she put it on yesterday afternoon, I noticed it had become a bit small... And then I remembered back in the summer one of the other girl's mom had offered to let Graisi borrow one of theirs. And of course I hadn't seen Patti in months and months until last night. Thank goodness! If you haven't priced skate dresses in a while, they run about $120-$300 each (and that's on the cheap side). But that does include the hand crystaling with Swarovski crystals which is a must in competition. AND you're not supposed to wear it more than once... Needless to say, Graisi's "old faithful" was purchased last year at Target with lovely white rhinestones for the low low price of $15.99. Not to mention she wears it to practice in all the time. So I'm excited.

After we got home and got the kids fed and in the bed, Martin and I retired to the bed with Sandra Bullock in "Premonition". Please remember this is the second movie made for adults (adult movie just didn't sound right) that we'd watched in 20 MONTHS! (The first one was Evan Almighty. We watched it Sunday night and it was funny.) Needless to say, Martin fell asleep in the middle of it because he said it was too confusing to watch at that time of night and it made him tired. I on the other hand had to watch all of it. We paid for it and I was going to get my money's worth, dang it. I thought it was very interesting but there are still aspects that left me very confused. Oh well, it was entertaining to say the least. Martin said he woke up once and heard me talking to the television.

Martin informed me this morning that I had to take a break from sewing for the next few days to get our consignment clothes ready to sell. OH JOY! This is a twice a year event for us and I dread it both times. All of the summer stuff has to be sorted, ironed, hung up, pinned to the hangers and sorted by size. All of the toys have to have batteries and be cleaned. Shoes have to be tagged and bagged. Let's just say, I'd rather have my who-who waxed. Sorry for the visual. Maybe you won't be too traumatized.

On that note, I'll leave you for the day. Happy Thursday everybody! See ya tomorrow.
