Kisses for Everyone

Alli Claire is now giving kisses! She actually leans toward you and offers them. But, like I said earlier... sometimes you get tongue in there, but hey, who cares right? It's sweet!! Yesterday she offered her first kiss to her Daddy when he got home. She's never done that before and it made his day. You usually have to turn her head and keep it still to kiss her, but she's doing it herself now. She's such a big girl :o)

And Martin if you're reading this, I'm going to admit it before you expose me first.... I let Alli Claire fall off the bed last night... If you've ever been to my house, you know how high our bed is. (I have to have a step stool to get in it.) She was in the middle of the bed being silly because she was sooo tired and I'd turned around to wash my hands in the bathroom. Next thing I heard was the thud of her hitting the floor. I think it knocked the breath out of her but otherwise she was unhurt. I felt/feel horrible about it!! But I also know she's not the only child who's ever fell off of a bed before. Just maybe the first to have fallen from one so high.... When she woke up this morning there was no ill will towards me so I think she's forgiven me for it.

On another note... it's raining outside!!! I parked on the top of the parking deck this morning and didn't even bring in an umbrella. I figure this might be the last time I get to be wet from rain for a while, so I'll enjoy it. Today's high is only supposed to be 95 degrees! Heck, I might need a light jacket this afternoon :o)

Tonight we're planning to go to Jaime and Chad's to have a High School Musical 2 party! Mallory is going with us and she and Graisi are sooo excited because we all know how dreamy Troy Bolton is!!! We've heard how dreamy Troy is on several occasions. Graisi even has two Troy Bolton notebooks this year for school. Ooooh La La! There should be at least 3 little squealing little girls there tonight. Martin and I thought we might need to watch some of the first one last evening to brush up on our High School Musical characters. I'm not sure I actually saw any of it, as I was trying to find the hidden Groucho Marx glasses in the current issue of Readers Digest :o) I really don't think it will be that difficult to spot Troy as the girls will be kissing the television when he appears! What fun it is to be 7 years old!
