Friday, Martin and I weren't feeling really hot, but we made it through the day. Martin attended his sports dinner but was called home about 30 mins shy of it being over. I just didn't think I was going to make it. But, I managed to get the girls
to bed and landed myself into my plush pile of pillows... with my trusty trash can beside the bed...just in case. We made it through the night with no major upsets and considered ourselves very lucky considering how sick the the babies were. (I know Graisi isn't a baby anymore, but she's still my baby girl and I will continue to refer to her as such :o)
Saturday, Graisi attended the Young Authors Conference and was very upset when I picked her and Mallory up from the school. It seems the "on hand" author stopped signing his books right before Graisi got up to him. This was the first thing she told me about the event. After her unsatisfactory comments about this gentleman, she proceeded to tell me about what a great time they had. I finally got to read her book and it was actually very cute. I'll post it for you tomorrow if I can remember to get it.
Sunday, Graisi and I went to church together. Martin kept Alli Claire at home. She still wasn't feeling well, so we thought it would be best. It was our Sunday to keep the babies for Worship Care. Thankfully, there weren't but 3 or 4 of them. My friend, Wendy, was also in there with me. We had a good time talking and rocking babies.... Have I mentioned, I STILL don't have a rocking chair at home??? HUM HUM....
After church and before skating practice, Graisi pulled her own tooth!!!! The second, bottom right. The Tooth Fairy was good to her, paying her $2 for the pearly beauty, but wasn't as generous as she is at Mamaw and Papaw's house :o)

Do you ever wonder if everyone will be well at the same time? It will happen!! Better to be sick at home than on a trip...remember when Leiann and fam came to Germany and she was sick (in BED most of their visit). V took her to a German Doctor whom we didn't know, but we spoke enough Deutsche to make him understand she needed meds NOW:):) I can only imagine how miserable she was (not to mention jet lagged). My heart goes out to you with all the sickness --have you lysol'd and clorox'd everything...smile.
