Weekend News

Congratulations to Ben and Beth Ann Hurst on the birth of their baby boy Luke Williams Hurst. He was born Friday and both mom and baby are doing well and are at home trying to get some rest.

Friday afternoon, Graisi had a birthday party to attend for a friend of hers from pre-school. This was the first time she'd been to a roller skating party and she did so well on skates. We put her in the in-lines and she skated all over the place. Those ice-skating lessons are paying off!

Afterwards, we went over to Ed and Sallie's, albeit, Sallie wasn't home. But, Ed built a fire in the fire pit and we sat outside and enjoyed the cool night air for a change while the kids ran around trying to hurt each other in the hammock....not too bad, but there was some hollering going on.
It turned out to be a really nice evening. Sorry, Sallie...maybe next time you'll be at home when we have another impromtu party :o) We missed you!

Saturday we drove to Newnan for our niece's 2nd birthday party. Happy Birthday to Caroline this week!! She is the funniest little character and as cute as a button! Graisi stayed and spent the night with Maggie and we came home with one less child than we went with.

Sunday, I debated on whether to sleep in or get up and go to church... You'll be happy to know, I got my lazy rear-end out of bed and went. We are studying Abraham and Sarah in Sunday School and it's been a very interesting study in Genesis. I hated to miss it and I've really enjoyed it.

Alli Claire made more attempts to crawl yesterday afternoon. She's been rocking and has taken one or two "crawls", but yesterday she managed FOUR! It won't be long before she's up and running.
