Not much happened this weekend. It was too cold and windy to get out and do anything. I wish I had more to report on, but I don't.
Martin took the girls ice-skating Saturday morning while I went to a friend's baby shower. Then back home and waited on the bad weather. Other than the one crack of thunder that literally shook the windows, we didn't get anything, thankfully. I was looking out the window from the sofa and I watched the darn thing shake... It was a little unnerving to know that sound can do that. Martin and Graisi had just left to go to the grocery store so I called to make sure he didn't need to come back home (and be with me :o). He said Graisi thought the bridge, they'd just passed over, had blown up! LOL!
Yesterday was church and back home to get into comfy clothes and veg out all afternoon. It was really great. Last night we watched the first hour of Planet Earth with Graisi. Martin stayed with her and watched the second hour with her while I retreated to our bedroom to watch the new episode of Gene Simmons, Family Jewels on A&E. I'm addicted. Some of you are probably shocked, some of you are probably not. I'm not a fan of KISS, but Gene is hilarious! I love him!!
Oh yea, this morning, Alli Claire rolled off of our 3 1/2 foot high bed as I reached back for a wipe to clean her face. I caught her by her chubby little ankle about half way down just before she hit the floor. It didn't seem to phase her a bit. I have a feeling she's going to be our little dare devil! I think Martin's heart stopped....AH the first of many such episodes :o)
