Graisi's project on gorillas is due today. After two weeks of trying to figure out what she was going to do, she ended up doing a collage on foam board, complete with pictures, wooden letters, tree limbs, shades of torn tissue paper and a ribbon of course. It really turned out well. She was so proud of it and was ready to give her speech to the class. She practiced and practiced until she got very fluent. I can't wait to hear how she did this afternoon. She asked Martin if we could keep it for posterity. I think we'll just take a picture and I'll post it later for you to see. You wouldn't believe the stuff I find in her pockets and in the corners of her room of stuff she's kept as treasures.
Gorilla fact: zookeepers and scientists tell gorillas apart by their nose prints, kinda like our fingerprints. We've all learned so much!
Alli Claire is as honory as always. She refuses to get into her car seat, bucking and arching her back whenever you try to put her in. But after she gets buckled, she's fine. Go figure! Already she's testing the waters..... This is way too young, right!!??
